Featuring one active loudspeaker and one passive slave, the A-125’s can be connected to multiple source devices to deliver high performance audio.
The system uses high fidelity aptX Bluetooth 4.2 to stream music and has both Optical (Toslink) and HDMI inputs, ideal for connecting to TV’s and gaming consoles. CD players and Tuners can be connected using the AUX (RCA) input.

Description

The nuBox A-125 has five inputs, all of which are on the right speaker, which controls the system as the master speaker.

  • Bluetooth connectivity for smartphones and tablets
  • Tv using HDMI ARC – allowing the TV remote to control the volume
  • Coax and Optical for PC’s and gaming
  • CD and Tuner using RCA Aux
  • Connect turntables using RCA or Bluetooth (phono preamplifier may be required)

The aptX codec offers CD quality sound over Bluetooth.
The inclusion of “sub out” allows a sub woofer to be added to offer extra bass extension and round off the lower frequencies.

The nuBox AS-125’s has been acoustically tuned to suit both home theatre enthusiasts and serious music listeners alike and delivers outstanding tonal accuracy and sonic performance.

Design

The nuBox A-125  loudspeakers’ clean lines and minimalist styling continues the heritage of the early Bauhaus design principles; form follows function.

As fully active two-way boxes, the nuBox A-125 house an active crossover and a total of four powerful digital amplifiers, each with 40 watts of music power. The Digital Signal Processing enables precise separation and equalization of the frequency paths.

The two loudspeakers are connected together by a 3m cable with 4 pin DIN connections, ensuring a clean signal is delivered.

The cabinet construction is 19 millimetre medium-density fibre-board which reduces resonance and promotes a clean and detailed sound.
The loudspeakers are a two way, bass-reflex design with the bass reflex port situated on the back of the cabinet.
The cabinets are covered in a black foil with a satin black front baffle.
The removable, magnetically attached front grille is covered with permeable acoustic fabric.

A-125’s offer a very respectable lower limit frequency of 50 Hertz due to the precise DSP settings and the tuned long-throw woofers.
The textile dome tweeter delivers excellent omnidirectional characteristics and particularly fine resolution.
